Awinko furniture family | Personal project.
Together with my brother Gaston (Architect), we designed and manufactured this family of furniture, the project was born from our love for design and the search to produce furniture with unconventional materials.
For this family of furniture we seek to create a minimal design with a slight touch of brutalism and for its manufacture we use WBP plywood, a material little used in home furniture.
The idea of using WBP plywood is that its textures can be seen and felt, which is why we protected it with a transparent water-based lacquer.
To join the pieces of each furniture, we use vinyl glue and structural wood screws.
